Our Story

Open Knowledge Tanzania is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting open knowledge and digital skills. We empower individuals to learn, contribute, and share high-quality, open content—especially from underrepresented communities. Through training, partnerships, and self-learning initiatives, we’re building a vibrant, inclusive knowledge-sharing ecosystem in Tanzania and beyond.

Open Knowledge Tanzania also provides a welcoming space for collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. We host events, workshops, and community-driven projects that connect people with tools and resources to grow their skills and impact.
